Senior Medical Physicist

Prior to joining Allegheny Health Network in 2018 as a senior medical physicist, Matthew Goss, MS, DABR, gained valuable experience by working for RadAmerica, LLC for four years as a clinical physicist. He then joined the external beam treatment planning department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he was employed for seven years. His main clinical interests are the culture and intersection of physics and treatment planning, medical physics outreach, and volunteerism.  Mr. Goss continues to work with Rayos Contra Cancer and Radiating Hope. He plays competitive rugby, does home-brewing, and enjoys high alpine mountain climbing.

Mr. Goss received his MS from Duke University in 2007. He participated in clinical training both at Duke University and Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Mr. Goss is board-certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology (DABR) and holds a NY State license for Medical Therapeutic Physics.
