Shailja Patel obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Medical Dosimetry from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She received her clinical education at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Phoenix, Arizona. She was the winner of the 2020 AAMD Student Writing Competition. She is currently working with The Johns Hopkins University as a clinical dosimetrist in Bethesda, Maryland.
